Hadskis - Restaurant

We have worked with Niall & Joanne Mckenna (James St. South) on several projects over many years, when it came to naming their restaurant in Commercial Court, Belfast we discovered during our research in the PRONI offices that a man called Stewart Hadskis opened an iron foundry at the actual address in 1760. He specialised in the production of pots and pans. With this knowledge it was widely accepted the new restaurant would be called 'Hadskis'.

The Hadskis logotype employed the industrial typeface 'S4AE' to emphasis the nature of the work that took place on the site many moons ago.
